I grew up right outside of Savannah and moved to Atlanta for college. One night I went to a club called Two-Steps West and took a line dance class and I was hooked! After moving back to Savannah I continued to enjoy my passion for dance with the Kix Kickers dance group, with which I made many lifelong friends.

I eventually started dancing UCWDC competition line and also competed in couples Pro-am. In 2017 as a member of the Wild Roses dance team I won my first UCWDC World Championship. I added to my World Championship buckles with a win in UCWDC Choreography and also as Points Champion in my age division.

I’ve always loved teaching line dance and have been inspired to spread my passion for dancing with others. There is something special about seeing someone come to a class for the first time, hesitant and shy, and seeing their faces light up when they realize that they can do it, and just know that they are now hooked. I’ve had students from all walks of life come to my classes. Moms, dads, children, seniors and every race, creed, shape and size. It doesn’t matter. It’s all about having fun. That’s what I try to inspire in my students, some of which have become my greatest friends and a part of my life that keeps my heart full.

It’s all about having fun and enjoying yourself. You don’t have to be perfect at it. Just have a good time.
